Job Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language(s) used in workplace
  • Ability to stand and walk frequently for 8+ hours per day
  • Ability to lift, lower, and maneuver up to 30 pounds frequently
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and pivot frequently throughout the workday
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be service-oriented and collaborative
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant server role preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Basic math skills for order accuracy

Job Duties

  • Prepare the restaurant for service by cleaning and stocking essential supplies
  • Learn menu item details to provide recommendations and highlight specials
  • Accurately take and detail guest orders ensuring accuracy and delight
  • Engage and build rapport with guests to identify needs and ensure satisfaction
  • Communicate special needs or requests proactively and resolve guest challenges collaboratively
  • Maintain cleanliness and complete side work during and after shifts
  • Maintain professionalism consistent with restaurant and company expectations
  • Know and communicate emergency procedures and assist guests during emergencies
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by restaurant leadership
