Job Duties

  • Work knowledge of the restaurant business including menu planning, current food and entertainment trends, basic room setups and capacities
  • strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service
  • determine, develop, and execute action plans for target accounts to exceed sales revenue expectations
  • develop and maintain relationships with customers and community organizations
  • create and implement sales strategies to maximize hotel profits while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • analyze competition, market trends, and customer needs
  • evaluate revenue potential of clients and develop sales strategies based on trends
  • communicate and enforce contractual agreements on meetings, food and beverage, and concessions
  • review bills for accuracy and timeliness
  • assist in development and implementation of custom menus
  • maintain proper documentation of events and communicate event details to operations staff
  • organize and conduct site visits and planning meetings
  • upsell products and services during pre-event planning
  • complete projects with focus on deadlines and quality results
