Job Duties
- Work knowledge of the restaurant business including menu planning, current food and entertainment trends, basic room setups and capacities
- strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service
- determine, develop, and execute action plans for target accounts to exceed sales revenue expectations
- develop and maintain relationships with customers and community organizations
- create and implement sales strategies to maximize hotel profits while maintaining customer satisfaction
- analyze competition, market trends, and customer needs
- evaluate revenue potential of clients and develop sales strategies based on trends
- communicate and enforce contractual agreements on meetings, food and beverage, and concessions
- review bills for accuracy and timeliness
- assist in development and implementation of custom menus
- maintain proper documentation of events and communicate event details to operations staff
- organize and conduct site visits and planning meetings
- upsell products and services during pre-event planning
- complete projects with focus on deadlines and quality results
