Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry heavy items
- willingness to comply with safety and sanitation standards

- ability to communicate effectively

Job Duties
- keep station neat and clean while serving
- clean station at end of shift
- keep food transport carts clean and sanitary
- use proper food handling and serving techniques when transporting food
- ensure timely food delivery to maintain optimal food temperature
- visually check each dish to ensure nothing is missed
- maintain assigned buffets in clean, orderly fashion with sufficient food
- assist restaurant staff with duties such as clearing and cleaning tables, filling water glasses, refilling drinks, returning dishes to the kitchen and proper placement of soiled linens and trash
- complete assigned sidework and related cleaning duties
- be on time and at work when scheduled, and in proper uniform
- attend department meetings as scheduled
- exhibit consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests, vendors and associates
- report any incidents of guest dissatisfaction or unusual matters of significance to manager or supervisor
- comply with policies and procedures
- practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures
- write shift reports including reports on any incidents of theft, accidents or injuries when assigned
- check with manager or supervisor before leaving work area for any reason
- perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
- participate in task forces and committees as requested
- perform any other duties or tasks as requested by management
