Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Willingness to learn and follow Urban Plates recipes and procedures
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation or pastry cooking is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Positive attitude and readiness to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Prepare a wide range of food products and pastries following Urban Plates recipes and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Demonstrate excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times
