Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

- Previous experience as a prep cook or pastry cook preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and baking principles
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties
- Prepare a wide range of food products and pastries according to Urban Plates' recipes and procedures
- Ensure efficient and timely food preparation to meet daily operational needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep and pastry kitchen areas
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure consistency and quality of menu items
- Assist with inventory control and ingredient management
- Support cross training initiatives to develop versatile culinary skills
