- ability to follow cleaning and safety protocols
- physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- attention to detail
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in a cleaning or food service role preferred
- ability to operate cleaning machinery such as the Kaivac Univac
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- maintains all utensils and food production equipment in good working order by using correct cleaning, sharpening, and storage procedures
- performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
- demonstrates knowledge of utilization of the Kaivac Univac for mopping, scrubbing, and drying floors in the kitchen, restrooms, and dining rooms
- learns and applies the correct location for all items stored and used such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies
- mops spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents
- demonstrates knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals
- cleans the customer service areas by following proper procedures including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables and condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units
- follows proper procedures for maintaining sidewalks and parking lot sanitation including sweeping and scrubbing
- notifies management of any leaks or equipment failures such as refrigerators and freezers not maintaining proper temperatures
- disposes of all trash properly
