Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- willingness to follow safety protocols
- capability to report equipment malfunctions promptly
- ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- team player mindset
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- ability to operate cleaning equipment such as the Kaivac Univac
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills
- ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
Job Duties
- maintains all utensils and food production equipment in good working order by using the correct cleaning, sharpening, and storage procedures at all times
- performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
- demonstrates knowledge of utilization of the Kaivac Univac for mopping, scrubbing, and drying floors in the kitchen, restrooms, and dining rooms
- learns and applies the correct location for all items stored and used, such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc
- mops spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents
- demonstrates knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals
- cleans the customer service areas by following the proper procedures, including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables and condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units
- follows proper procedures for maintaining sidewalks and parking lot sanitation to include sweeping, scrubbing, etc
- notifies the management person on duty of any leaks or equipment failures such as refrigerators/freezers not maintaining proper temperatures
- disposes of all trash properly
