Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintains all utensils and food production equipment in good working order by using the correct cleaning, sharpening, and storage procedures at all times
  • Performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
  • Demonstrates knowledge of utilization of the Kaivac Univac for mopping, scrubbing, and drying floors in the kitchen, restrooms, and dining rooms
  • Learns and applies the correct location for all items stored and used, such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc
  • Mops spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents
  • Demonstrates knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals
  • Cleans the customer service areas by following the proper procedures, including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables and condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units
  • Follows proper procedures for maintaining sidewalks and parking lot sanitation to include sweeping, scrubbing, etc
  • Notifies the management person on duty of any leaks or equipment failures such as refrigerators/freezers are not maintaining proper temperatures
  • Disposes of all trash properly
