Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • food safety certification required
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • leadership abilities to motivate and develop teams
  • availability to work mornings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant management or similar leadership role
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and certification
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to train and develop staff
  • proficiency in operational and financial management
  • passion for customer service and team leadership
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run smoothly and meet high standards
  • follow recipes meticulously recognizing the importance of quality ingredients
  • work towards exceeding restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • coach and monitor First Watch Five Steps of Service implementation
  • apply the 10 Commitments in all interactions
  • respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • manage repair and maintenance issues
  • maintain food safety certification and promote safe food handling practices
  • scout and interview potential team members
  • secure company assets including technology and equipment
  • understand key responsibilities of all restaurant roles
  • address inappropriate behaviors and conduct investigations as necessary
  • train, coach and develop team members daily
  • recognize outstanding performance
  • handle daily revenues and deposits
  • complete administrative duties punctually
