Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work early morning shifts
  • food safety certification
  • excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • ability to resolve conflicts and handle customer concerns effectively
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • capable of managing both front and back of house operations
  • strong organizational and administrative skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
  • certified in food safety
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members
  • ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service excellence
  • proficiency with point-of-sale and other restaurant management systems

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run according to plan with high standards
  • understand and enforce recipe adherence for sourced ingredients
  • know and work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • coach and observe the implementation of First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • respond urgently to customer and employee concerns
  • communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • maintain certification in food safety and coach safe food handling
  • continuously scout and interview candidates to join the team
  • secure company assets including computers, point of sale systems, security systems and equipment
  • understand key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant
  • immediately stop and investigate any inappropriate behavior
  • train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • recognize performance that goes above and beyond
  • account for all daily revenues and deposits
  • complete administrative duties and submit required paperwork on time
