Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • Food safety certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work mornings and daytime shifts
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Customer service orientation with problem-solving skills
  • Ability to comply with company policies and procedures

  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage operational and administrative tasks

  • Knowledge of sales and financial goal achievement
  • Experience with recruiting and interviewing prospective employees

Job Duties

  • Learn and support our You First culture and core values
  • Put supervisory skills to work to ensure daily operations run according to plan and high standards
  • Follow and enforce recipe adherence for quality food preparation
  • Know and strive to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • Coach and observe implementation of the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • Put into action the company's 10 Commitments
  • Respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • Communicate and manage repair and maintenance issues immediately
  • Maintain certification in food safety and coach team on safe food handling
  • Scout for and interview potential team members
  • Secure company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems, and equipment
  • Understand key responsibilities of every restaurant position
  • Stop and investigate inappropriate behavior
  • Train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • Recognize and reward excellent performance
  • Account for all daily revenues and deposits
  • Complete administrative duties and submit paperwork on time
