Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • food safety certification
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry
  • ability to work early mornings and flexible hours
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • ability to handle employee and customer issues
  • commitment to customer service excellence
  • authorized to work in the United States

  • Previous management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run smoothly and meet high standards
  • ensure recipes and food safety standards are consistently followed
  • achieve and exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • maintain food safety certification and coach safe food handling
  • scout and interview candidates for team growth
  • secure company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
  • understand and fulfill key responsibilities of every restaurant position
  • intervene and investigate inappropriate behavior
  • train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • recognize outstanding performance
  • account for daily revenues and deposits
  • complete administrative duties and ensure timely paperwork submission
