- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work morning shifts and handle fast-paced environment
- Capable of recognizing and resolving issues quickly

Job Qualifications

- Prior management or supervisory experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Certified in food safety or able to obtain certification promptly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage operations both front of house and kitchen
- Skilled in coaching and motivating staff
- Knowledge of restaurant sales and financial goals
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Job Duties
- Learn and support the You First culture and core values
- Put supervisory skills to work by ensuring daily operations run according to plan and with high standards
- Ensure adherence to recipes and food quality standards
- Understand restaurant sales and traffic goals and work to exceed them
- Coach and observe the implementation of the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
- Put the 10 Commitments into action
- Respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
- Communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
- Maintain food safety certification and coach staff in safe food handling
- Continuously scout and interview candidates to join the team
- Secure company assets including computers, point-of-sale systems, and equipment
- Understand key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant
- Address inappropriate behavior promptly and investigate as needed
- Train, coach, and develop team members daily
- Recognize performance excellence
- Account for all daily revenues and deposits
- Complete administrative duties and submit paperwork on time
