Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in restaurant or food service management
  • Food safety certification required
  • Ability to work morning shifts
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to operate point of sale and security systems
  • Must be able to respond quickly to customer and employee issues
  • Capability to train and develop team members
  • Must adhere to company policies and culture
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven experience in restaurant management
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications
  • Ability to manage both front-of-house and back-of-house operations

Job Duties

  • Learn and support our You First culture and core values
  • Put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run smoothly and meet high standards
  • Ensure recipes and food preparation standards are followed accurately
  • Understand and work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • Coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • Implement the 10 Commitments in daily actions
  • Respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • Communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • Maintain food safety certifications and coach safe food handling
  • Recruit and interview candidates
  • Secure company assets including computers and equipment
  • Understand responsibilities of all restaurant positions
  • Address and investigate inappropriate behavior
  • Train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • Recognize and reward outstanding performance
  • Account for daily revenues and deposits
  • Complete administrative duties and paperwork on time
