Job Duties
- Learns and supports the You First culture and core values
- Puts supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run according to plan and with high standards
- Ensures adherence to recipe standards and quality food preparation
- Understands restaurant sales and traffic goals and works to exceed them
- Coaches and observes First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
- Applies the 10 Commitments in daily operations
- Responds promptly to customer and employee concerns
- Takes ownership of repair and maintenance issues
- Maintains certification in food safety and coaches on safe food handling
- Scouts, interviews, and hires candidates to build the team
- Secures company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems, and equipment
- Understands key responsibilities of all restaurant positions
- Addresses inappropriate behavior and conducts investigations as needed
- Trains, coaches, and develops team members daily
- Recognizes and rewards outstanding performance
- Accounts for daily revenues and deposits
- Completes administrative duties and ensures paperwork is submitted on time
