Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • food safety certification
  • ability to work morning shifts without night shifts
  • strong leadership and coaching capabilities
  • excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to perform restaurant duties and stand for extended periods
  • passing background check
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles
  • certification in food safety required
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • knowledge of restaurant financial management
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency with point of sale systems
  • commitment to exceptional customer service and team development

Job Duties

  • Learns and supports the You First culture and core values
  • puts supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run according to plan and high standards
  • follows and enforces strict recipe compliance
  • works to meet and exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • coaches and observes the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • enacts the 10 Commitments in daily operations
  • responds promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • communicates and resolves repair and maintenance issues
  • maintains food safety certification and coaches team on safe food handling
  • recruits and interviews new team members
  • secures company assets including POS and security systems
  • understands key responsibilities of every restaurant position
  • addresses and investigates inappropriate behavior
  • trains, coaches, and develops staff daily
  • recognizes outstanding performance
  • manages daily revenue and deposits
  • completes administrative duties and paperwork on time
