Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in restaurant or food service management preferred
- food safety certification required or willingness to obtain
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
- availability to work daytime hours
- commitment to upholding company values and culture
- proficiency with point-of-sale and administrative systems
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous restaurant management experience preferred
- strong leadership and team development skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety standards and certification
- ability to manage both front of house and kitchen operations
- customer service-oriented mindset
- proficiency in handling administrative and financial responsibilities
- coaching and mentoring experience
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
Job Duties
- Learn and support the You First culture and core values
- put supervisory skills to work to ensure daily operations run according to plan and with high standards
- ensure recipes and food preparation follow quality standards
- understand restaurant sales and traffic goals and work to exceed them
- coach and observe the implementation of the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
- apply the 10 Commitments in daily actions
- respond urgently to customer and employee concerns
- communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
- ensure food safety certification and coach safe food handling
- continuously scout for and interview candidates
- secure company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
- understand key responsibilities of all restaurant positions
- stop and investigate inappropriate behavior
- train, coach, and develop team members daily
- recognize exceptional performance
- account for daily revenues and deposits
- complete administrative duties and submit paperwork on time
