Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • food safety certification
  • minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management or related supervisory role
  • ability to work mornings and weekends
  • strong communication and leadership abilities
  • ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks
  • ability to maintain company standards and policies

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run according to plan with high standards
  • understand and enforce recipe compliance for quality food sourcing
  • know and work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • coach and observe implementation of the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • apply the 10 Commitments in daily actions
  • respond urgently to customer and employee concerns
  • communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • obtain and maintain food safety certification and coach safe food handling
  • scout for and interview job candidates
  • secure company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
  • understand the responsibilities of all restaurant positions
  • stop and investigate inappropriate behavior immediately
  • train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • recognize performance that exceeds expectations
  • account for daily revenues and deposits
  • complete administrative duties and submit paperwork on time
