Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant management or leadership
  • food safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to work mornings with no night shifts
  • strong supervisory and communication skills
  • ability to handle customer and employee concerns promptly
  • capability to manage daily revenue and administrative responsibilities
  • availability for full-time employment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run according to plan with high standards
  • understand and enforce recipe adherence to maintain food quality
  • monitor and work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • implement the company's 10 Commitments in daily actions
  • respond urgently to customer and employee concerns
  • communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • obtain and maintain food safety certification and coach safe food handling practices
  • scout and interview candidates to grow the team
  • secure company assets including technology and equipment
  • understand key responsibilities of all restaurant positions
  • intervene and investigate inappropriate behavior promptly
  • train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • recognize outstanding performance
  • manage daily revenue accounting and deposits
  • complete administrative duties and submit paperwork on time
