Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant management or leadership
  • Certified in food safety
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible daytime hours without night shifts
  • Capability to motivate and develop team members
  • Basic computer skills for managing reports and administrative tasks

Job Duties

  • Learns and supports the You First culture and core values
  • Puts supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run according to plan and high standards
  • Ensures recipes and food sourcing standards are followed
  • Works to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • Coaches and observes the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • Implements the 10 Commitments in daily work
  • Responds urgently to customer and employee concerns
  • Communicates and takes immediate ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • Is certified in food safety and coaches safe food handling
  • Scouts for and interviews candidates to join the team
  • Secures company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
  • Understands key responsibilities of every restaurant position
  • Addresses and investigates inappropriate behavior immediately
  • Trains, coaches, and develops team members daily
  • Recognizes exceptional employee performance
  • Accounts for daily revenues and deposits
  • Completes administrative duties and paperwork on time
