Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience
- certified in food safety
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work morning shifts without night shifts
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- must be at least 21 years old to participate in 401(k)
- capable of handling physical and operational demands of a restaurant environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- strong leadership and team coaching skills
- knowledge of food safety standards and certification
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- understanding of restaurant operations including front and back of house
- experience with inventory and financial controls
- passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Job Duties
- Learn and support the You First culture and core values
- put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run smoothly and with high standards
- ensure recipes and food preparation standards are followed
- work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
- coach and observe service excellence using the First Watch Five Steps of Service
- implement the 10 Commitments and put them into action
- address customer and employee concerns with urgency
- communicate and manage repair and maintenance issues promptly
- maintain food safety certification and coach safe food handling
- recruit and interview candidates to join the team
- secure company assets including technology and equipment
- understand every position’s key responsibilities
- stop inappropriate behavior and conduct investigations as necessary
- train, coach, and develop team members daily
- recognize exceptional performance
- ensure accurate accounting of daily revenues and deposits
- complete administrative duties and submit paperwork on time
