Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Learn and support You First culture and core values
  • Put supervisory skills to work to ensure daily operations run according to plan and high standards
  • Understand and follow recipes to maintain food quality
  • Know and work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • Coach and observe implementation of First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • Apply the 10 Commitments in daily actions
  • Respond urgently to customer and employee concerns
  • Communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • Be certified in food safety and coach safe food handling
  • Scout and interview candidates for team growth
  • Secure company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems, and equipment
  • Understand key responsibilities of all restaurant positions
  • Stop and investigate inappropriate behavior
  • Train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • Recognize outstanding performance
  • Account for all daily revenues and deposits
  • Complete administrative duties and submit paperwork on time
