Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous management experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Food safety certification
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in handling operational and administrative responsibilities
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Willingness to work mornings and weekends
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a related supervisory role
  • Certification in food safety
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Competency in handling administrative tasks and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with customer service excellence principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • Put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run according to plan with high standards
  • Understand and follow recipes precisely to maintain food quality
  • Know restaurant sales and traffic goals and work to exceed them
  • Coach and observe the implementation of First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • Apply the background story of the company’s 10 Commitments in daily operations
  • Respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • Communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • Be certified in food safety and coach safe food handling practices
  • Scout for and interview candidates to join the team
  • Secure company assets including computers, point of sale systems and equipment
  • Understand the key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant
  • Put an immediate stop to inappropriate behavior and investigate as necessary
  • Train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • Recognize performance that exceeds expectations
  • Account for all daily revenues and deposits
  • Complete administrative duties and submit required paperwork on time
