Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fine dining restaurant management or maître d’ role
  • Strong knowledge of French cuisine, wine, and fine dining service etiquette
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Proficiency with Opentable reservation system
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Oversee all front-of-house operations, including host stand, reservations, dining room flow, and guest relations
  • Greet and seat guests with genuine warmth, ensuring an elegant and seamless dining experience
  • Lead, train, and motivate service staff to uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely and precise service execution
  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the dining room
  • Manage reservations and special events, including VIP and repeat guest experiences
  • Handle guest feedback with discretion, professionalism, and a focus on recovery and relationship-building
  • Support scheduling, payroll, and inventory control in collaboration with ownership or GM
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Represent the restaurant’s brand image through impeccable appearance, demeanor, and communication
