Job Requirements

  • Current alcohol and food certification that meets state requirements or willingness to obtain certifications
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to ten or more hours
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
  • Ability to perform motions including pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
  • Willingness to work late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to work 50-55 hours per week as needed
  • Ability to perform all restaurant-level functions including prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting items up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to handle repetitive hand and wrist motions

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in a full-service restaurant manager role
  • At least 1 year of experience scheduling and managing labor
  • Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, cost accounting, budgeting, financial planning, and strategy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to build and maintain an excellent team
  • Ability to think like an owner and accept feedback
  • Must have a passion for the bar and restaurant experience while prioritizing guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Responsible for hiring, training and retaining the best talent in the industry
  • Executes training and development of team members through orientations, ongoing feedback, and establishment of performance expectations
  • Conducts performance reviews on a regular basis
  • Enforces policies and procedures and follows disciplinary action standards
  • Ensures safety standards are communicated to and followed by the team members each shift
  • Responsible for training team members in cleanliness and sanitation practices
  • Leads by example as a role model for great performance
  • Ensures completion of financial, reporting, and personnel/payroll administrative duties accurately and on time
  • Schedules labor based on anticipated business activity while meeting labor cost objectives
  • Controls labor cost by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results
  • Maintains operations by executing policies and standard operating procedures
  • Implements production, productivity, quality, and service standards
  • Monitors, evaluates, and audits food, beverage, and service offerings to maintain guest satisfaction
  • Builds relationships with guests to enhance experience
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by enforcing sanitation standards and complying with health and legal regulations
  • Ensures all food and products are prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
  • Orders products according to specifications and ensures proper receiving procedures
  • Controls food and liquor cost and usage by following requisition, storage, standard recipes, and waste control procedures including temperature checks
  • Maintains security systems and oversees facility safety
