Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant or food and beverage management
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in food and beverage or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of guest service standards and financial management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting and operational planning
  • Experience with marketing and promotional strategies

Job Duties

  • Manage all outlet operations including guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Monitor and develop team member performance including providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward
  • Monitor and assess product, service, and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Initiate and implement marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services to maximize overall revenue
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about outlet offerings, products, services, facilities, events, pricing, policies, and local area events
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
