Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to operate a computer and related software
- Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an Associate Manager or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager for internal promote
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
- Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient with personal computers and related software
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
- Monitors staffing levels to ensure development and talent
- Implements employee training systems and ensures adherence
- Identifies and develops internal candidates for management
- Ensures execution of "My Promise to You" and the Service Profit Chain
- Motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
- Treats employees with respect and dignity
- Manages daily restaurant operations to provide excellent guest service and food quality
- Responds to guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintains restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
- Uses management tools to analyze operational and financial performance
- Implements action plans to improve sales and profitability
- Monitors costs and adherence to budgets
- Demonstrates high ethical standards and professionalism
- Manages conflict and communicates effectively
- Serves as a role model for employee development and guest service
- Performs other duties as assigned
