Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 10 hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and write for communication
- Ability to use small tools and equipment requiring dexterity
- Driver's license required
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications are a plus
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage stressful situations effectively
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with store-related technology

- Ability to develop and mentor employees
- Experience with scheduling and cost control
Job Duties
- Ensures timely friendly service according to company guidelines achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
- Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established by Flynn Applebee's standards
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Ensures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standards by performing line checks
- Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- Maintains effective safety and security programs
- Promotes and leads restaurant organization cleanliness and sanitation
- Performs routine maintenance and immediately reports needed repairs to the General Manager or Area Director
- Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team member and management candidates
- Promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Helps maintain a trained staff through effective use of employment orientation individual training sessions employee meetings and implementation of company policy and training systems
- Participates in constant development of employees using One-on-One and performance documentation and contributes to completion of written evaluations
- Assesses efficiency of employees provides fair feedback on a regular basis and continuously works with employees on their areas of development
- Monitors acceptable employee performance and documents situations that require or could lead to disciplinary or corrective action
- Assures compliance with company policies practices and procedures
- Controls cost in assigned department
- Compliance with local state and federal laws regulations and guidelines
- Drives bi-weekly weekly food and liquor inventories at the AD GM's request and is accountable for completion
- Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- Assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee's standards
- Provides a role model for managers and employees
- Develops self on all store related technology
- Willing and able to work in all positions and assist in a team member position as needed including cooking on the line expo seating guests bartending
- Uses the Management Development Program for continuous growth of leadership skills and proficiencies
