Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- current food management certification
- must have flexibility for scheduling as the restaurant is open 365 days per year
- willing to transfer to a different geographical location
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- ability to stand and move for up to four hours at a time
- stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
- must be able to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
- coordination to operate kitchen equipment
- adhere to dress and grooming policies
- must be able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
- attend weekly and quarterly meetings
- complete employee performance evaluations
- communicate with management and staff throughout the day
Job Qualifications
- current food management certification
- flexible scheduling availability
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- basic math skills including counting currency and making change
- basic computer skills
- ability to read and write English
- strong communication skills
- experience in restaurant management
Job Duties
- communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
- read as well as write notes in the manager’s daily log in English
- attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
- read the weekly memo
- complete weekly or monthly employee evaluations
- communicate with all managers on duty when shift is completed
- relate an accurate, honest report of all events both positive and negative
- comply with all policies, rules, and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
- attend the quarterly supervisor meetings
