Job Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of five years progressive experience in food and beverage management
- At least two years in a senior leadership role
- Serve Safe certified food manager
- Valid unexpired TIPs certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift up to 50lbs and carry up to 100lbs
- Comfortable working in kitchen and restaurant environments with exposure to steam and extreme temperatures
- Knowledge of local laws and health regulations
- Ability to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years progressive experience in food and beverage management
- At least two years in a senior leadership position
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of food cost and inventory management
- Ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to motivate managers and associates
- Strong skills in forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L analysis
- Proficient with computer and online purchasing systems
- Experience tracking and analyzing turnover trends
- Demonstrated mentoring and talent development skills
- Ability to conduct progressive discipline and coaching
- Proven leadership and associate engagement skills
- Experience working with sales and catering leadership
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Maintain and refine service standards consistently
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage day to day operation of all restaurant functions including events to minimize operating costs
- Ensure health, safety and sanitation standards are met
- Supervise the cleanliness and upkeep of food preparation and storage areas
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage Directors on menu development and creative displays
- Control requisitioning and forecast food and beverage quantities for maximum profitability
- Establish and monitor steps of service across all outlets
- Ensure leadership floor coverage during peak hours
- Conduct monthly micros audits for pricing accuracy and associate access
- Assist in budgeting and control overheads to meet financial objectives
- Inspect all restaurant outlets for cleanliness, service, and food quality
- Handle guest complaints and ensure positive service recovery
- Communicate daily with outlet leadership teams about events and staffing
- Supervise sanitation operations and timing of kitchen service
- Complete financial and personnel administrative duties including payroll and invoicing
- Conduct daily standup meetings with associates
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of all restaurant and public spaces
- Schedule walk-throughs and maintenance with Engineering
- Conduct monthly food and beverage inventories
- Review staffing levels and productivity
- Execute instructions on Restaurant Event Orders and handle special requests
- Attend pre-convention meetings and recruit and interview team members
- Train, supervise, and develop team members
- Hold associates accountable for performance
- Develop and implement goals and action plans
- Lead and motivate associates while fostering trust and cooperation
- Ensure fair and equitable treatment of associates
- Work on associate engagement and retention
- Address associate feedback and problems
