Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous restaurant management experience preferred
- Food management certification required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to transfer locations within 30 miles
- Strong communication skills in English
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role
- Ability to stand and move for long durations
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform bending, stooping, squatting, or crawling
- Basic proficiency in math and computer use
Job Qualifications
- Current food management certification
- Ownership mentality
- Flexibility for scheduling as Flanigan’s is open 365 days per year
- Willingness to transfer to different geographical locations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to formulate pars and order supplies
- Basic math skills including counting currency and using a calculator
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge and facilitation of proper health code standards
- Ability to conduct interviews and adhere to hiring policies
- Ability to issue written performance evaluations
- Ability to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
- Ability to read and write English
- Physical stamina to stand and move moderately for up to 4 hours and work 50 to 55 hours per week
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
- Coordination to operate kitchen equipment
- Adherence to Flanigan’s dress and grooming policies
Job Duties
- Communicate kitchen issues with management throughout the day
- Read and write notes in the manager’s daily log in English
- Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
- Read the weekly memo
- Complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
- Communicate with all managers on duty when shift is completed
- Relate accurate, honest reports of all events both positive and negative
- Comply with all policies, rules, and directions from manuals, memos, and meetings
- Attend quarterly supervisor meetings
