Job Requirements

  • Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license
  • Alcohol Beverage Control card
  • Any applicable health certificates
  • Ability and energy to move about a large casino facility with a true sense of urgency
  • Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Use hands and fingers to handle and feel, use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens
  • Use of going up and down stairs and elevators multiple times per day

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred five to seven years experience in restaurant management and supervision
  • Preferred a four year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operational results
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Accuracy in completing assigned duties under pressure and in a timely manner

Job Duties

  • Develop and manage the business plan and budget for the restaurant
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food, and drink necessary to operate the restaurant
  • Manages areas of responsibility to enhance the gaming experience of guests
  • Development of staff to include training, interviewing for hires, conducts disciplinary counseling and performance evaluations
  • Review staffing levels to maintain a budgeted level of employment and delegate authority and assign responsibilities
  • Review departmental status with Food and Beverage Director
  • Develop and manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
  • Meets with directors and managers as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
