Job Requirements
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license
- Alcohol Beverage Control card
- Any applicable health certificates
- Ability and energy to move about a large casino facility with a true sense of urgency
- Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Use hands and fingers to handle and feel, use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens
- Use of going up and down stairs and elevators multiple times per day
Job Qualifications
- Preferred five to seven years experience in restaurant management and supervision
- Preferred a four year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations
- Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operational results
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Flexible work schedule
- Accuracy in completing assigned duties under pressure and in a timely manner
Job Duties
- Develop and manage the business plan and budget for the restaurant
- Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food, and drink necessary to operate the restaurant
- Manages areas of responsibility to enhance the gaming experience of guests
- Development of staff to include training, interviewing for hires, conducts disciplinary counseling and performance evaluations
- Review staffing levels to maintain a budgeted level of employment and delegate authority and assign responsibilities
- Review departmental status with Food and Beverage Director
- Develop and manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
- Meets with directors and managers as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
