Job Description

Buffalo Wild Wings is a renowned sports bar and restaurant chain that offers a vibrant, fast-paced atmosphere where sports fans gather to enjoy great food, drinks, and live sports action. Founded in 1982 by Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery in Ohio, Buffalo Wild Wings started from a simple craving for authentic Buffalo, New York-style chicken wings. Since its inception, the brand has grown into a beloved nationwide franchise known for its welcoming neighborhood atmosphere and a front-row seat for every sports fan, complete with 21 signature sauces and seasonings that elevate the wing-eating experience. The company embraces a culture centered on fun, enthusiasm, and community engagement, making it a dynamic and exciting place to work.

As a full-time Sports Bar Restaurant Manager at Buffalo Wild Wings, you will be the head coach responsible for leading your team and managing the business to deliver the ultimate fan experience on game day and every day. This role goes beyond managing day-to-day operations; it encompasses leading a diverse team that includes the Assistant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, Service Manager, Bar Manager, and Kitchen Manager. Your leadership will drive performance, improve engagement, and spearhead training initiatives across the restaurant. You will play a crucial role in both local restaurant marketing efforts and comprehensive financial management, overseeing profit and loss statements to ensure the operation runs efficiently and profitably.

Your leadership also extends to fostering strong community connections and spearheading fundraising activities that help root the establishment deeply within the local sports community. At Buffalo Wild Wings, it is not just about serving wings but about creating memorable experiences that bring sports fans together. This role offers you a chance to be at the center of the action, creating an energetic and appetizing environment that matches the thrill and excitement of a live sports event.

The position requires a solid understanding of labor laws, health regulations, safe food handling and sanitation practices, responsible alcohol service, safety and security protocols, and general computer operations. You will manage staff recruitment, appraisal, training, and supervision while also maintaining budgets, financial records, inventory control, and pricing strategies. Handling customer service, resolving complaints, motivating your team to meet sales targets, and ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards are also essential aspects of your role.

Buffalo Wild Wings offers competitive pay ranging from $24 to $26 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance, employee discounts, and paid training. The company supports its managers' career growth with opportunities for professional advancement, aiming to develop future general managers with the resources and guidance needed to thrive. If you aspire to grow within a vibrant brand where you’ll never miss a sporting event and can share your passion for sports and hospitality with a dedicated team, this role is designed for you. The schedule includes 10-hour shifts, weekend availability, and holiday work, perfect for those who thrive in an active, social workspace. Buffalo Wild Wings is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in its workforce, ensuring a welcoming environment for all employees.
