Job Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience preferred
  • knowledgeable of allergy procedures
  • ServSafe and CPR certified within 60 days of holding the position
  • Guest Relations and Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Prevention Training completed
  • knowledgeable of Legal Sea Foods menus
  • familiar with Point of Service and Reservations systems

Job Duties

  • Lead restaurant FOH shift and FOH department employees in the absence of senior FOH manager
  • handle employee relations issues, concerns and guest complaints during shift when FOH manager on duty is not present
  • assist with the staffing of the restaurant including participating in hiring process
  • manage job assignments, break rotation and delegation of tasks during shift when manager on duty is not present
  • comply with procedures and policies including food safety and sanitation matters as opener/closer
  • support associates on point of sale and reservations issues
  • provide and coordinate excellent customer service to facilitate return of guest
  • ensure timely and accurate completion and reconciliation of all financial transactions and operate POS terminals according to cash handling guidelines
  • conduct Legal Sea Foods training such as Service and Sanitation, Menu, Fish, and POS for new hires
  • assist with preparation and completion of paperwork required to operate the restaurant
  • maintain accurate employee personnel files and ensure employees are punched in while working
  • follow and enforce Company standards and protocols including safety, sanitation, and respectful workplace
  • promote the Code of Ethics and act with integrity
