Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in management or supervisory role in food service
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • excellent customer service orientation
  • capability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant management or related hospitality leadership
  • strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lead and motivate front-of-house staff
  • proficiency with point of sale systems and cash handling
  • capable of handling employee relations and conflict resolution
  • familiarity with training and development of restaurant staff
  • commitment to company core values and ethical standards

Job Duties

  • Leads restaurant FOH shift and FOH Department employees in absence of senior FOH manager
  • handles employee relations issues and guest complaints during shift without manager on duty
  • assists with staffing including participating in hiring process
  • manages job assignments, break rotation, and delegation of tasks during shift without manager on duty
  • ensures compliance with procedures and policies including food safety and sanitation as opener/closer
  • provides support for point of sale and reservations issues
  • coordinates excellent customer service to facilitate guest return
  • completes and reconciles financial transactions and operates point of sale terminals according to cash handling guidelines
  • conducts training such as service, sanitation, menu, fish, and POS for new hires
  • assists with preparation and completion of restaurant paperwork
  • maintains accurate employee records and ensures employees are punched in
  • enforces company standards, protocols, and policies including safety and respectful workplace
  • acts with integrity and promotes code of ethics
