Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience in team or shift leader role
- Jersey Mike’s phase 1 and 3 certification with phase 2 within first year
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Capable of standing, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Food handler’s permit
- Ability to work in kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and sharp utensils
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience as a team or shift leader in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
- Jersey Mike’s phase 1 and phase 3 certification and attendance to phase 2 within first 12 months
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
- Understanding of business and management principles such as strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Food handler’s permit
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and sufficient liability coverage
Job Duties
- Ensure total customer satisfaction through delivery of quality product and excellent customer service
- Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and correct problems
- Supervise and direct employees regularly during work hours
- Work independently using own discretion in executing duties
- Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to motivate employees
- Evaluate employee performance and hold employees accountable
- Communicate team goals and coach employees toward achieving them
- Make hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation decisions
- Develop and execute business plans for the restaurant
- Analyze business performance and monitor costs
- Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring quality standards
- Execute company-wide marketing programs
- Identify and develop local marketing strategies
- Ensure compliance with laws and company policies
- Maintain food safety, handling, and sanitation standards
- Complete franchise-specific certifications
- Transport cash deposits securely
- Maintain 100% attendance
- Model company values including compassion, communication, and collaboration
- Perform any other duties assigned
