Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in leadership or team/shift leader role
- Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification and completion of phase 2 within first 12 months
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver license with clean driving record and insurance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in a team or shift leader position in restaurant, retail or convenience store
- Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification with phase 2 completed within 12 months
- Knowledge of employment law and human resource practices
- Understanding of business and management principles including strategic planning and resource allocation
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Food handler's permit
- Valid driver license with clean driving record and liability coverage
Job Duties
- Ensure total customer satisfaction through quality product and excellent customer service
- Respond quickly and positively to customer concerns
- Supervise and direct employees during work hours
- Work independently using discretion and judgment
- Train, coach and provide feedback to employees
- Evaluate employee performance and hold accountable
- Communicate team goals and motivate employees
- Make hiring, discipline, advancement, termination and compensation decisions
- Develop and execute the restaurant business plan
- Analyze business performance and manage controllable costs
- Utilize labor efficiently to meet budget and quality standards
- Execute company-wide marketing programs
- Develop local marketing strategies to maximize sales
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies
- Uphold food safety and sanitation requirements
- Complete franchise-specific certifications and ongoing education
- Transport cash deposits securely
- Maintain 100 percent attendance
- Promote company values of compassion, communication and collaboration
- Perform other duties as assigned
