Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in team or shift leader role
  • Jersey Mike’s phase 1 and 3 certification and complete phase 2 within 12 months
  • Must be knowledgeable about employment law and human resources practices
  • Demonstrated financial and analytical aptitude
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to stand, twist, reach, grab, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record
  • Food handler’s permit
  • Must have 100% attendance
  • Willingness to transport cash deposits securely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a team or shift leader position in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
  • Jersey Mike’s phase 1 and 3 certification, attend phase 2 within first 12 months
  • Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
  • Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning and leadership techniques
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Food handler’s permit
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record and sufficient liability coverage

  • Ensure total customer satisfaction through quality product and excellent customer service
  • Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and correct problems
  • Supervise and direct employees regularly during work hours
  • Train, coach and provide regular performance feedback to employees
  • Evaluate employee performance and hold employees accountable
  • Communicate team goals and motivate employees towards achieving them
  • Make employment decisions including hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation
