Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
  • Must hold food handler's permit
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record and liability coverage
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Physically able to stand, twist, reach, grab, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be available for full attendance
  • Must complete Jersey Mike's phase 2 certification within first 12 months

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a team or shift leader position in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
  • Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
  • Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques
  • Basic math and computer knowledge
  • Food handler's permit
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record and liability coverage
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Certification in Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3, with phase 2 to be completed within the first 12 months

Job Duties

  • Ensure total customer satisfaction through the delivery of a quality product and excellent customer service
  • Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and correct problems before they affect customers
  • Supervise and direct employees during work hours
  • Train, coach and provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve employees
  • Evaluate employee performance and hold employees accountable for meeting performance standards
  • Communicate team goals and expectations
  • Make employment decisions including hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation
  • Develop and execute the business plan for the restaurant
  • Analyze business performance and monitor controllable costs
  • Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high quality
  • Execute company-wide marketing programs
  • Identify and develop local marketing strategies to maximize sales
  • Ensure business and personnel practices comply with laws and policies
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation requirements
  • Participate in continued education including franchise certifications
  • Transport cash deposits securely
  • Maintain 100% attendance
  • Model shared company values of compassion, communication, and collaboration
  • Perform additional assigned duties
