Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in leadership role
  • Completion of Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification
  • Attendance of phase 2 certification within first 12 months
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR practices
  • Valid driver's license with clean record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must read, write, and speak English
  • 100% attendance
  • Food handler's permit

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a team or shift leader position in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
  • Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification and completion of phase 2 within 12 months
  • Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
  • Understanding of business and management principles including strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Food handler's permit
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record and sufficient liability coverage

Job Duties

  • Ensure total customer satisfaction through delivery of quality products and excellent service
  • Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns
  • Supervise and direct employees regularly during work hours
  • Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to motivate employees
  • Evaluate employee performance and hold accountable for standards
  • Communicate team goals and recognize contributions
  • Make employment decisions regarding hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation
