Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership or supervisory position
  • Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification and commitment to complete phase 2
  • Ability to comply with employment laws and company policies
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to stand, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must read, write, and speak English
  • Valid driver's license with clean record
  • Food handler's permit
  • Commitment to 100% attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a team or shift leader role in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
  • Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification, attend phase 2 within first 12 months
  • Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
  • Understanding of business principles including planning, budgeting, and leadership
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Food handler's permit
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and liability coverage

Job Duties

  • Ensure total customer satisfaction through quality product and excellent service
  • Respond quickly and positively to customer concerns
  • Supervise and direct employees regularly during work hours
  • Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to employees
  • Evaluate employee performance and hold employees accountable
  • Communicate team goals and coach employees toward achieving them
  • Make employment decisions including hiring, discipline, and termination
  • Develop and execute business plan for the restaurant
  • Monitor business performance and control costs
  • Execute company-wide and local marketing programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and company policies
  • Uphold food safety, handling, and sanitation requirements
  • Transport cash deposits securely to the bank
  • Maintain 100% attendance
  • Model and promote company values
  • Perform any other assigned duties
