Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role in restaurant, retail or convenience store
  • Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification with phase 2 to be completed within first 12 months
  • Must be knowledgeable about employment law and human resources practices
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Food handler's permit
  • Valid driver's license with clean record and liability coverage
  • Ability to stand, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • 100 percent attendance
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record and sufficient liability coverage

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in team or shift leader role in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
  • Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification and completion of phase 2 within 12 months
  • Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
  • Understanding of business and management principles including strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record
  • Food handler's permit

Job Duties

  • Ensure total customer satisfaction through delivery of quality product and excellent service
  • Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and resolve problems
  • Supervise and direct employees regularly during work hours
  • Train, coach and provide regular performance feedback to employees
  • Evaluate employee performance and hold them accountable for standards
  • Communicate team goals and recognize employees' contributions
  • Make employment decisions including hiring, discipline, and compensation
  • Develop and execute business plan for the restaurant
  • Analyze business performance and control costs
  • Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets and ensure quality
  • Execute company-wide and local marketing programs
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation requirements
  • Complete required franchise education and certifications
  • Transport cash deposits securely
  • Maintain 100 percent attendance
  • Model and promote company values such as compassion and collaboration
  • Perform any other duties assigned
