Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to stand, twist, reach, grab, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver license with clean driving record
- Food handler's permit
- Must undergo background verification through E-Verify
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in a team or shift leader position in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
- Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification, attend phase 2 within 12 months
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
- Understanding of business and management principles including strategic planning, budgeting, and leadership
- Basic math and computer skills
- Food handler's permit
- Valid driver license with clean driving record and sufficient liability coverage
Job Duties
- Ensure total customer satisfaction through delivery of quality product and excellent customer service
- Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and correct problems
- Supervise and direct employees during work hours
- Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to employees
- Evaluate employee performance and hold employees accountable
- Communicate team goals and expectations and motivate employees
- Make employment decisions including hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation
- Develop and execute the business plan for the restaurant
- Analyze business performance and monitor controllable costs
- Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets and quality standards
- Execute company-wide and local marketing programs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies
- Uphold food safety and sanitation requirements
- Complete franchise-specific certifications
- Securely transport cash deposits to bank
- Maintain 100 percent attendance
- Model company values including compassion, communication, and collaboration
- Perform other duties as assigned
