Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in team or shift leader position in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
- Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification with attendance in phase 2 within first 12 months
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Financial and analytical aptitude including planning and budgeting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Positive attitude
- Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable with strong work ethic
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Capability to stand, twist, reach, grab, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license with clean record and sufficient liability coverage
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in a team or shift leader role in restaurant, retail, or convenience store
- Jersey Mike's phase 1 and 3 certification and complete phase 2 within 12 months
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
- Understanding of business and management principles including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Food handler's permit
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and liability coverage
Job Duties
- Ensure total customer satisfaction through quality product and excellent customer service
- Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and resolve issues
- Supervise and direct employees during work hours
- Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to employees
- Evaluate and hold employees accountable for meeting performance standards
- Communicate team goals and expectations and recognize employee contributions
- Make employment decisions including hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation
- Develop and execute the restaurant business plan
- Analyze business performance and control costs
- Utilize labor effectively to meet budget goals
- Execute company-wide and local marketing strategies
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
- Participate in continued education and franchise certifications
- Transport cash deposits securely
