Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have or obtain a food handler’s permit within 30 days of starting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Service-oriented with both guests and team members
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with customers and handling service issues professionally
- Initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Basic math skills
- Valid driver license with clean driving record
- Ability to stand, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- Pass E-Verify for employment eligibility
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience as a team or shift leader in restaurant, retail, or convenience store setting
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources practices
- Understanding of business and management principles including strategic planning and resource allocation
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Valid driver license with clean driving record
- Food handler’s permit
- Completion of Jersey Mike’s phase 1 and 3 certifications, and attendance of phase 2 within first 12 months
Job Duties
- Ensure total customer satisfaction through quality product delivery and excellent customer service
- Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns
- Supervise and direct employees regularly
- Use discretion and judgment in executing duties
- Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback
- Evaluate employee performance and enforce standards
- Communicate goals and recognize employee contributions
- Make employment decisions including hiring and discipline
- Develop and execute the restaurant business plan
- Analyze business performance and control costs
- Utilize labor effectively to meet budget and quality expectations
- Execute company-wide marketing programs
- Develop local marketing strategies
- Ensure compliance with laws and company policies
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
- Complete franchise specific education and certifications
- Transport cash deposits securely
- Maintain 100% attendance
- Model and promote company values
- Perform any other assigned duties
