Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or business management
- Minimum 3 years experience in restaurant management
- Fluency in Japanese and English, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety and labor regulations
- Proficient with inventory management and POS systems
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a restaurant manager or assistant manager, preferably in a Japanese or Asian dining environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills in both Japanese and English, verbal and written
- Knowledge of sushi and Japanese cuisine and restaurant operations
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic financial acumen including budgeting, cost control, reporting
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards
- Manage and train staff including servers, kitchen staff, and sushi chefs, ensuring high levels of performance and teamwork
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with executive management on budget planning, cost control, and business strategies
- Prepare operational and financial reports as required
- Support marketing initiatives and community engagement activities
