Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
  • Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew preparation, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels using established procedures and monitor crew positions
  • Communicate sales and profit-related issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • Monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality by engaging with customers and managing crew performance
  • Take service times and assess efficiency
  • Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and maintain customer courtesy
  • Take corrective action to improve service times
  • Train crew to solicit customer feedback and establish daily service goals
  • Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and follow cleaning plans
  • Direct crew to correct cleaning deficiencies
  • Train crew in new products and initial position skills
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
  • Recognize high-performing crew members
  • Follow flowcharts to meet prep and production goals
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels
  • Perform physical inventory and intake food deliveries
  • Maintain security of cash, products, and equipment
  • Follow restaurant priority plans
  • Ensure execution of standard procedures and manage shifts to quality standards
  • Take appropriate corrective actions when problems arise
  • Follow operations manual procedures
  • Maintain safe working conditions as per company policies
  • Adhere to cash control policies
  • Report accidents promptly
  • Manage operational procedures for health inspections
  • Use checklists for effective shift management
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Write crew schedules to meet management plans
