Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift
- Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
- Track waste levels and monitor crew position procedures
- Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plan
- Monitor product quality by engaging with customers and managing crew performance
- Take service times and determine efficiency
- Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and customer courtesy
- Take corrective actions to improve service times
- Solicit customer feedback
- Establish and communicate daily sales objectives
- Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
- Follow restaurant cleaning plan and correct deficiencies
- Train crew on new products and use orientation and training processes
- Assist in training new managers
- Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
- Recognize high-performing crew members
- Follow flowcharts to meet prep and production goals
- Monitor inventory levels and complete physical inventory
- Intake weekly food deliveries
- Maintain security of cash, products, and equipment
- Follow priorities and plans set by General Manager
- Ensure proper execution of standards and procedures
- Maintain QSC level of 80 percent or better
- Take action when problems are identified
- Follow procedures in operations manual
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Follow cash control policies
- Report accidents accurately
- Follow health department procedures
- Use shift management checklists
- Perform administrative tasks
- Write crew schedules
- Comply with crew benefits standards if applicable
- Follow preventative maintenance program
- Train and monitor equipment maintenance
