Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift
  • Review budget and P&L monthly
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels using established procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plans
  • Monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew feedback
  • Manage crew performance to maintain quality standards
  • Measure service times and determine efficiency
  • Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and customer courtesy
  • Take corrective action to improve service times
  • Train crew to solicit customer feedback
  • Set and communicate daily S.O.S. goals
  • Train crew to maintain cleanliness and follow cleaning plans
  • Direct crew to correct cleaning deficiencies
  • Train crew in new products
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Use Crew Orientation and Training processes
  • Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
  • Recognize high-performing crew members
  • Monitor inventory levels and complete physical inventory
  • Intake weekly food deliveries
  • Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
  • Follow operational priorities and plans
  • Ensure standards and procedures are followed during shifts
  • Manage shifts to achieve Q.S.C. levels of 80% or better
  • Take appropriate actions when problems arise
  • Follow Operations manual procedures
  • Maintain safe working conditions
  • Adhere to cash control policies
  • Report accidents promptly
  • Address Health Department inspection procedures
  • Manage shifts using "Managing Better Shifts" checklist
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Write crew schedules to meet plans
  • Comply with crew benefits standards
  • Follow Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Monitor and train crew on equipment maintenance
