Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
  • Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew preparation, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels using established procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • Monitor food costs to prevent waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance feedback
  • Take service times and evaluate efficiency
  • Train crew in responding promptly to customer needs and in customer courtesy
  • Implement corrective actions to improve service times
  • Train crew to solicit customer feedback
  • Establish and communicate daily S.O.S goals
  • Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and follow cleaning plans
  • Correct cleaning deficiencies
  • Train crew in new products and initial position skills
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Cross-train crew for shift coverage
  • Recognize high-performing crewmembers
  • Ensure crew meets prep and production goals
  • Monitor inventory and complete physical inventory
  • Intake weekly food deliveries
  • Maintain security of cash, products, and equipment
  • Follow restaurant priorities and plans set by management
  • Ensure proper execution of standards during shifts
  • Manage shifts to achieve Q.S.C level of 80% or better
  • Take appropriate action when problems arise
  • Follow operations manual procedures
  • Maintain safe working conditions as per policies
  • Follow cash control policies
  • Report accidents promptly
  • Resolve operational issues indicated by health inspectors
  • Manage shifts effectively using management checklists
  • Perform administrative duties as required
