Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
- Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew preparation, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
- Track waste levels using established procedures
- Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
- Monitor food costs to prevent waste and theft
- Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance feedback
- Take service times and evaluate efficiency
- Train crew in responding promptly to customer needs and in customer courtesy
- Implement corrective actions to improve service times
- Train crew to solicit customer feedback
- Establish and communicate daily S.O.S goals
- Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and follow cleaning plans
- Correct cleaning deficiencies
- Train crew in new products and initial position skills
- Assist in training new managers
- Cross-train crew for shift coverage
- Recognize high-performing crewmembers
- Ensure crew meets prep and production goals
- Monitor inventory and complete physical inventory
- Intake weekly food deliveries
- Maintain security of cash, products, and equipment
- Follow restaurant priorities and plans set by management
- Ensure proper execution of standards during shifts
- Manage shifts to achieve Q.S.C level of 80% or better
- Take appropriate action when problems arise
- Follow operations manual procedures
- Maintain safe working conditions as per policies
- Follow cash control policies
- Report accidents promptly
- Resolve operational issues indicated by health inspectors
- Manage shifts effectively using management checklists
- Perform administrative duties as required
- Write crew schedules to meet management objectives
- Comply with company standards for crew benefits
- Follow preventative maintenance program
- Train and monitor crew to maintain equipment
